The Rizzo Red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from ORANGE, NSW.
Gentle cool maceration of the Cab Sauv retained elegance, plush fruit flavours and established conservative but structural tannins.
The Syrah parcel had just one day of skin contact and then was drained from skins to finish ferment in neutral french oak.
Bottled in March 2024, this wine is super fresh! Lovely lively acidity with pretty blue fruits.
Native yeast. Unfiltered.
